EU-India virtual B2B Matchmaking on Solar thermal applications

Welcome to

EU-India virtual B2B Matchmaking on Solar thermal applications

Solar thermal applications have an immense market potential and can pave the way for de-carbonization of heating and cooling applications across not Industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors. Under the ongoing EU-India Clean Energy & Climate Partnership (CECP) project, a study was commissioned to assess the current status, identify the sector needs, Research & Innovation (R&I) needs and relevance for cooperation between the EU and India in the area of solar thermal. This study was presented to a select group of stakeholders on 28th October 2021 via a virtual webinar.

As a follow up to the webinar, the EU-India Clean Energy & Climate Partnership (CECP) project in collaboration with Solar Heat Europe and National Solar Energy Federation of India, will host a B2B matchmaking where EU companies will be able to meet Indian stakeholders via the virtual B2Match platform.

Participants: European Commission, EU Member States, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Solar project developers, EPC, Financial Institutions, Manufacturers & System integrators, Research bodies, Academia, not for profit, etc. The B2B Matchmaking session will present an opportunity for key stakeholders in India to learn more about the expertise available within EU, to explore potential partnerships and collaborations.

The aim is to promote information exchange and networking opportunities for EU companies with counterparts from India.

Further objectives are to:

  • Explore trade, investment and partnering opportunities related to the event’s focus areas
  • Initiate discussions that would ultimately result in Letters of Interest, Memorandum of Understanding, and other types of partnership agreements.

Focus Sectors:

  • Solar Thermal Technologies
  • Heating and cooling applications
